Today is our 8th anniversary - which is very hard to believe. My wonderful husband secretly arranged for someone to watch our kids, and took me to Outback Steakhouse for supper. It was a great date, and it has been a fantastic 8 years! I would definitely do it all over again;)

You don't know me but I am one of your father's cousin's on his mother's side (Knox). I was told by a cousin that Gail had sent an obituary about your father (I'm sorry for your loss) so I decided to google him to see his obituary and through this I found your blog.
I'm in hopes that you would like to e-mail me as I would love to share pictures + stories of the Knox family with you as I am the family genealogist.
My mother, Shirley stayed with your Grandparents in 1949 as Cal was the new mister in Savannah, NY and Mom helped Alice to settle the house and watch Corky plus she went to school there and this is how she met my Father, Bruce Van Dyne so if it wasn't for your Grandparents my parents would have never met and got married. They were married for 49 years before her death.
Grandma Knox (Flora Peters Knox) always talked highly of your Mom and with everything I read on your blog I would say that she did a marvelous job bringing up her children.
